Adult Ballet

Service Description

With an emphasis on the joy of ballet movement, strengthening and lengthening the body while moving through space, Danielle shares her love of ballet and movement with dancers looking to begin their ballet journey as an adult. This program is also perfect for those with experience who want to come back to ballet at a gentle pace! Ballet is a progression that builds on foundational movements. Each class will start at the barre for the first half of class, beginning with plies and progressing to grand battement. The second half of class will be in the center, without barres, where we will challenge our balance, and use the fundamental movements learned at the barre to move our bodies through space.
